Patato is one of Fauna's old OCs from when she was a tween...or, to put it another way, a fragment of Fauna's own psyche.
Anaïs has given Patato temporary physical form, but I think she would have to ask Patato to do things.
Fauna might be able to take direct control of Patato's thoughts and actions, via something like role-playing. But ordinarily, Patato would be a free agent, like a character who isn't you in one of your dreams.
